PRACTICE FOCUS
Advises companies on issues regarding designing and delivering sustainable development strategies in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union. Assists in structuring projects in environmental responsibility, energy efficiency and development of the digital economy in line with government policy priorities and stakeholder requirements. Works with leading corporations in the extraction and energy industries, the consumer sector, and e-commerce.
Heads the work carried out by the Sharing Economy cluster at the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC).
Experience
Has over 15 years’ experience of working with government bodies (GR) and the expert community and managing sustainable development projects. Prior to setting up TIARCENTER, was Vice President of an international consultancy firm, and before that Vice-Rector of one of the largest federal universities, and aide to a senator in the upper house of the Russian Federal Assembly.
Education
Passed his Ph.D. defense in Political Sociology at St Petersburg State University, graduated with distinction from the master’s program in Public Administration at MSU. Completed his postdoctoral studies at Laval University (Canada). Speaks English and French.
